Southern Bird is a Southern Thai chicken house inspired by the flavours of home.

Growing up with Southern Thai heritage, we have always been surrounded by food that brings people together — meals shared with family, friends gathering around the table, and simple dishes made with care.

We wanted to share that feeling with Melbourne.

Our menu celebrates three Southern Thai chicken traditions: Hat Yai fried chicken, Pattani satay, and Narathiwat Kolae — each shaped by the people, places, and cultures of Southern Thailand.
